What is Vitamin B13?
Vitamin B13 (Orotic Acid), is not really recognized as a vitamin. It helps with the production of genetic material, and may be beneficial after a heart attack. It has also been used to help treat conditions such as multiple sclerosis and chronic hepatitis. It is required for the effective use of Folic Acid and Vitamin B12. It also helps with the absorption of essential nutrients; especially calcium and magnesium. It is also required for the health of the nervous system and for efficient brain functioning.
What happens if you are deficient?
Deficiency may lead to liver disorders, cell degeneration, and premature aging.

Root vegetables, carrots, turnips, parsnips, beetroot, Whey powder, fruit, yoghurt, vegetables
How much is normally taken?
There isn't a Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) that has been established for Vitamin B13, and there is no known overdose amount.
